ABSTRACT
Ten cases has posterior fossa dermoid cysts were clinically diagnosed during the period from Jan. 1986 to Jan. 1995 in Al-Azhar neurosurgery Department. Brain CT scan was the main radiological diagnostic tool used in the diagnosis of these cases. MRI brain scan was done for one case only. All the patients were submitted to surgical treatment via a suboccipital posterior fossa craniectomy. The histopathological study has confirmed the diagnosis. The clinical and radiological findings were analysed, the results and the follow up were recorded
