ABSTRACT
This study was undertaken to determine the factors which contribute to nursing personnel turnover in Alexandria University Hospitals. Organizational requirement, staff interaction, job status, and prestige were among the significant factors to contribute the turnover. In addition it was found that intension to exit the organization was highest among the staff nurses than among nursing personnel in managerial position, which calls for developing strategies to improve the level of job satisfaction in those institutions
