ABSTRACT
Since 1885 different materials are used as intraorbital implant. Complications as infection, extrusion and limited motility of the prothesis are frequent with these materials. Hydroxyapatite implant with a good tolerance, stability and a better motility of the prothesis is a very important development for the treatment of the anophthalmic orbital cavity.
