Pregnancy rate in polycystic ovary syndrome resistant to clomiphene citrate with different treatment modalities

ABSTRACT
The study included one hundred infertile women known to have polycystic ovary syndrome [PCOS] and failed to conceive with one year clomiphene citrate treatment. Women randomly classified into five groups, each comprised 20 cases. Group [I] received clomiphene citrate plus human menopausal gonadotrophins [HMG] plus human chorionic gonadotrophins, group [II] received HMG + HCG, group [III] received pure FSH plus HCG, group [IV] received LHRHa plus HMG, HCG and group [V] subjected to laparoscopic ovarian drilling using diathermy
