ABSTRACT
Three coumarins were isolated from the CHCl3 extract of the aerial parts of Ranunculus asiaticus L. [Ranunculaceae]. They were identified as aesculetin dimethyl ether [6,7-dimethoxy-coumarin] [I], isoscopoietin [II] and scopoietin [III], based on their spectral and physical data.
