ABSTRACT
The aim of the study was to determine the aspects and the degree of job satisfaction felt by the rural community doctors in Egypt. Collection of data was carried out by an opinionnaire form which included indirect questions to measure job satisfaction of the community doctors. The analysis of 62 opinionnaires showed that there was a positive relation between job satisfaction of the community doctors and the standard of the technical resources in the Rural Health Centers and Units. Also, the availability of a place for residence for the community doctors and the suitability of the living condition of the Rural Health Centers and Units were important motivating factors for the community doctors to work at rural areas and for increasing their job satisfaction
