ABSTRACT

Aneurysmal malformation of the portal vein is rather rare. A 6/3cm aneurysmal malformation of the intra and extra-hepatic portal vein, thought to be of congenital origin is described. A literature review yielded only thirty similar cases, most of them being associated with hepatopathy or pancreatic pathology. Congenital forms are exceptional.
