ABSTRACT
The authors report a case of haemophagocytois sinus histiocytosis ROSAI-DORFMAN disease which occurred in a 60 year old woman who presented with a splenomegaly and inflammatory reaction without cervical lymphadenopathy. The evolution was favourable after splenectomy. This disorder is uncommon in old patients and the extra- nodal sites without concomitant nodal disease is unusual
