Serum ferritin in cases of unexplained preterm labor

ABSTRACT
This study included 20 normal pregnant, and 20 patients with the diagnosis of unexplained labor. The gestational age ranged between 28 and 35 weeks. Serum ferritin was measured in each of the cases and controls. Our results show that there is a significantly lower level of serum among the cases of unexplained preterm labor, when compared to the control group. Current iron replacement therapy did not influence the
