ABSTRACT
The excretion of growth hormones in defined culture medium by Frankia strain HFPCg14 was examined. The amounts of these compounds in extracts fractionated by paper partition chromatography were estimated by bioassay. Three auxin-like compounds, two cytokinin-like compounds and three gibberellin-like compounds were detected in culture media. Indole-3acetic acid [IAA] and gibberellin [GA3] was the main active compounds released during the logarithmic phase of growth by Frankia strain HFPCgl4
