ABSTRACT
This study included twenty patients who underwent CO2 laser tonsillectomy between April 1996 and November 1996. Ten cases were operated under general anesthesia and the rest of the cases under local anesthesia. Using such new dramatic tool, laser tonsillectomy proved to be safe, effective and cost effective with minimal intraoperative and postoperative morbidity and complications
