ABSTRACT
Lyophilized and fresh whole worm antigens were used in -the diagnosis of experimental toxocariasis canis in rabbits by the intradermal and gel-diffusion tests respectively. The intradermal test yielded 40% sensitivity and 62.5% specificity. In contrast the gel-diffusion test gave 78.58% sensitivity and 85.7% specificity, thus proving to be more sensitive but not specific
