ABSTRACT
The physiological and biochemical parameters like body weight, packed cell volume, blood pH, blood glucose, total lipids, total proteins, albumin, globulin and akbumin/globulin ratio were determined in three groups of nine rabbits each before and after the induction of experimental conditions like dehydration, fever and diabetes. Statistically, significant differences were observed in these parameters when the normal animals were compared with their respective diseased group. These differences in the physiological and biochemical parameters in experimentally induced disease states acquaint of the necessity for analyzing these conditions for the changes in the absorption, distribution, protein binding and metabolic disturbances leading to alteration in the disposition kinetics of drugs
