ABSTRACT
With [2-14C] acetic acid for 72 hours incubation all the lipids of Asterias rubens were labelled. About 1.5 x 107 dpm was found associated with the total lipids and 1.1 x 107 dpm in the phospholipids. The major labelled components were triglycerides, steryl esters, sterols, 1, 2 diglycerides in the neutral lipids. Whereas in the phospholipids cerebrosides phosphatidyl ethethanolmine, phosphatidyl lecithin were significantly labeled
