Outcome of pregnancy in asthmatic women

ABSTRACT
A case-control study was conducted to assess the impact of asthma on the outcome of pregnancy. The obstetrics records of one hundred asthmatic women were compared with an equal number of controls. There was no significant in the mean weight gain, duration of pregnancy, mean birth weight or Apgar score. Caesarian rate was, however, significantly higher [P < 0.03] among asthmatics
