ABSTRACT
To manage cases of Epistaxis not responding to routine treatment, just a step before the ligation of Internal maxillary/External carotid artery. A retrospective study of 525 admission in ENT Department over eight years [1983 to 1990]]. King Fahad Hospital Hofuf, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 525 patients admitted in ENT Department. Successful management of cases without complications. 11 cases were cured out of 525 admissions for epistaxis by this method. Consider Sub-Mucous Resection [SMR]/Septoplasty before ligation of blood vessels in cases of epistaxis not responding to routine treatment
