ABSTRACT
Although special education services have grown over the past decade, special education in Singapore continues to be conducted mainly in segregated special schools. The international movement towards inclusion has not influenced these established services. However, a number of other services aimed at promoting inclusion have services supported by government agencies such as the Ministry of Education. A number of other organizations provide out of school assistance for children with special educational, especially the inclusion of students with mild disabilities. The ongoing development in special education is matched by an expanding range of training courses for special education teachers
