Application of agrotechniques an important medicinal plants of Indian desert

ABSTRACT
In the present paper, details of cultivation and application of agrotechniques on Shankhpushpi [Evolvulus alsinoides] and Meswak [Salvadora persica] in Indian sesert are presented. Seed sowing at 0.5 cm depth during 1st week of June and July in 121 [sand clay FYM] soil mixture ratio was favourable for maximum seeding emergence in E. alsinoides. FYM, NPK+FYM and NPK treated seedlings showed maximum growth. In S. persica, seed sowing at 1.0 cm depth in 121 soil mixture ratio during 1st week of June was suitable for maximum seedling emergence, while treatments, with Hexameal and NOK for growth
