Macro and micromorphology of leaves, stem, root and rootstock of limonium angustifolium turr growing in Egypt

ABSTRACT

Previously, the chemistry of this plant was studied, where the isolation of some phytosterols, triterpene and two flavonoids as well as the antimicrobial principle of gallic acid was reported. Furthermore, detailed description of the inflorescence of this plant to facilitate the identification of the plant was provided. In this paper, the macro- and micromorphology of the leaves, stem, root and rootstock of Limonium angustifolium Turr, as well as their powders were described
