Rheumatic Fever/Rheumatic Heart Disease [RF/RHD] is the most common cardiovascular disease in children and young adults and remains a major health problem in developing countries. Currently, it affects an estimated 15.6 million people world-wide. Recent data from Pakistan has shown a very high prevalence of RHD in both urban and rural population.
