Schizophrenia: in relation to the date of birth, the state of moon and zodiac

ABSTRACT
Two hundred schizophrenic patients and two hundred controls were studied as regards the date of birth, the state of moon and the Zodiac. The highest frequency of schizophrenic births [38.5%] fell in one continuous chronological period, that is, the risk period [November, December and January] in contrast to 14% births of controls. More than half of the sample [57%] were born when the moon was receding. Capricorn was the Zodiac of many schizophrenic's birth and is followed by Pisces. The head circumference of 100 of the patients and 100 controls was measured and that of patients was significantly less than that of controls
