ABSTRACT
Kluveromyces fragilis, Kluveromyces lactic, Candida pseudotropicalis and Torulopsis candida grown in salted whey and in1 [v/ v] water diluted salted whey were analyzed for macromolecular components of cell material It is generally observed that dilation of whey affects the chemical composition of the Yeasts especially the crude protein and total nucleic acids contents. The data were used to evaluate the suitability of the yeasts as a source of single cell protein
