Adolescência e masturbaçäo: prática, mito, preconceito / Adolescence and masturbation: practice, myth, prejudice

RESUMO

The intent of the study is to verify the necessity to implaint an Adolescent's Clinic. A research was conducted with 209 adolescents from different schools and different socio-economic background in order to obtain data on the the incidence of adolescent's masturbation, as well as their reasons for that. Also this work tried to correlate these variabilities with the sex of the group studied. The author concluded that mastrubation was practiced by a great part of the teenage group, mainly in the male population, as a form of masculinity affirmation. Also was verified desinformation and nonsense ideas about masturbation by the adolescent group, and for these reasons in makes imperative emphasize the importance of creating a specific sector for the teenage group. This shall be one paper of a serial about the brazilian adolescent's behavior
