Abordou-se o elo final e critico da cadeia de producao de suinos o transporte ao abatedouro. Discutiram-se os fatores que desencadeiam stress e alteracoes de qualidade da carne(PSE/DFD), bem como as medidas necessarias a sua prevencao com vistas ao bem estar do animal e consequente melhoria de qualidade do produto.
