Tumores metastáticos de ovário / Metastic ovarian tumors

ABSTRACT

A retrospective study of 35 ovarian secundary tumor's cases was done. Ovarian tumors due to metastases correspound to 6 per cent of all malignant ovarian tumors. A correct diagnoses between primary and secundary tumor of the ovary is extremely important. In our serie the two mains primaries tumors sites were gastrointestinal tract with 31 per cent and breast with 31 per cent of the cases. Adenocarcinoma was the common tumor type (80 per cent) of the metastases to the ovary.
