Eyelid ptosis: surgical reconstruction with modification of frontal muscle flap technique

ABSTRACT

The authors propose a modification of the frontal muscle flap technique for surgical correction of severe palpebral ptosis. This technique was indicated in cases with lack of levator muscle function and efficient contraction of the frontal muscle. The authors describe and comment on the technique used and resuslts obtained.
