Las infecciones producidas por gérmenes anaeróbicos en el área ORL, se originan frecuentemente de complicaciones supurativas de estructuras de la cavidad oral y del área otorrinolatingológica, pudiendo extenderse a planos más profundos. La presente revisión incluye abscesos en la lengua periamigdalitinos, angina del Ludwig, infecciones laterofaríngeas y del espacio pre-vertebral haciendo énfasis en el diagnóstico y tratamiento
