ABSTRACT
Some personality traits and compulsive behaviors can been affected by the SSRIs. Five personality traits and/or compulsive behaviors were selected for study 1) interpersonal sensitivity; 2)perfectionism; 3) irratability/impulsivity; 4) pathological jealousy and 5) compulsions to exercise and/or to work. Five cases are reported in which the effects of SSRIs (fluoxetine or paroxetine) may have induced personality changes. Perfectionism, pathological jealousy and compulsions to exercise and/or to work were markedly altered
