Efectividad de la acupuntura en niños con asma bronquial / Effectiveness of acupuncture in children with bronchial asthma

RESUMEN

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y transversal de 30 niños de 7-14 años de edad, de uno y otro sexos, que padecían asma bronquial grado III e ingresaron en el Hospital Pediátrico "Juan B. Viñas González" de Palma Soriano, provincia de Santiago de Cuba, durante el último cuatrimestre de 1998, con el fin de determinar la efectividad del uso de la técnica acupuntural en ellos. De ahí se derivó que dicha terapéutica mejora completamente el cuadro clínico de los asmáticos a partir de la tercera sesión de tratamiento(AU)

ABSTRACT

A descriptive and crosssectorial study of 30 children between 7 and 14 years old, of both sexes who suffered from 3rd degree bronchial asthma and were hospitalized at ?Juan B. Viñas González? Pediatric Hospital of Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba province was carried out during the last four-month periodo of 1998 in order to determine the effectiveness of the use of the acupuncture technique in them. Hence ith was concluded that such therapeutic improves completely the clinical picture of the asthmatics from the third session of treatment on(AU)
