ABSTRACT
The authors report a case of anterior cruciate ligament ganglion observed in a 52-year-old woman. Her main complaint was posterior knee pain and a locked knee. The clinical examination simulated a lateral meniscus tear. The magnetic resonance imaging showed tear of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus. In the arthroscopic examination, a cystic mass on the posterior aspect of the anterior cruciate ligament was observed. The ganglion was resected arthroscopically and the patient remained free from symptoms for more than three years.
