A case of common fibular nerve (CFN) compression caused by an osteochondroma arising from lhe right proximal metaphysis of the fibula in a 13 years old mate patient is described. The patient reported that after falling with the right foot forced into plantar hyperflexion a complete lack of dorsal extension of the toes was noticed, persisting the strength of the anterior tibial muscle. Electro-neuromyography showed neuropraxia and partial axonotmesis of the CFN. The patient underwent conservative treatment for six months without improvement. Surgical procedure was indicated the surgical exploration showed a nerve dislocated and flattened by the tumor Complete resection of the tumor and neurolysis were performed for neurological recovery.
