Incidência de fimose e de testículos fora da bolsa em recém-nascidos / Incidence of phimosis and undescended testis in newborn infants

RESUMO
Apresenta-se um estudo com 187 recém-nascidos (RN) do sexo masculino examinados no HCPA procurando apontar a incidência de fimose e de testículos fora da bolsa escrotal bem como anomalias associadas. A incidência de testículos fora da bolsa foi de 3,2% (6 casos), testículos retráteis 11,76% (22 casos) e fimose 98,93% (185 casos). Foi observada uma incidência concordante com a literatura. O diagnóstico de testículos fora da bolsa tem importância prognóstica na populaçäo adulta masculina
