RESUMEN

El pólipo inflamatorio o pseudo pólipo es una causa muy rara de obstrucción intestinal. Los reportes a nivel mundial muestran series realmente pequeñas, el diagnóstico es generalmente post operatorio y por anatomía patológica. Presentamos un caso que ingresó como abdomen agudo, encontrándose la lesión a nivel del íleon. Esta ubicación es particularmente infrecuente. El paciente no tenía otros pólipos y se encuentra actualmente asintomático
