La Enfermería como disciplina profesional holística / Nursing as a professional holIstic discipline

RESUMEN

Desde hace algunos años las enfermeras/os han intentado desarrollar la práctica autónoma de la enfermería, quizás como ningún otro grupo profesional ha deseado convertir la especialidad en una disciplina científica, pocos no han sido los esfuerzos para delimitar un área particular de pensamiento que guíe la práctica, la investigación, la formación y gestión en enfermería. Por tal motivo se realizó una revisión de la literatura con la intención de describir cómo abordan distintos autores los conceptos de profesión, ciencia y holismo desde los orígenes de la especialidad así como las condiciones históricas y tendencias filosóficas que influyeron e influyen en la enfermería. Se demostró que la enfermería cumple con los criterios de profesionalización del sociólogo Povalko, tiene un método científico de trabajo, el Proceso de Atención de Enfermería, y un carácter profesional holístico al menos en su enfoque teórico(AU)

ABSTRACT

For some years the enfermeras/os has tried to develop the autonomous practice of the infirmary, maybe as any other professional group he/she has wanted to transform the specialty into a scientific discipline, few have not been the efforts to define an area peculiar of thought that guides the practice, the investigation, the formation and administration in infirmary. For such a reason he/she was carried out a revision of the literature with the intention of describing how different authors they approach the profession concepts, science and holismo from the origins of the specialty as well as the historical conditions and philosophical tendencies that influenced and they influence in the infirmary. It was demonstrated that the infirmary fulfills the approaches of the sociologist's profesionalización Povalko, he/she has a scientific method of work, the Process of Attention of Infirmary, and a holistic professional character at least in its theoretical focus(AU)
