Análise do processo inflamatório agudo no líquido pleural pós-cirurgias de revascularização do miocárdio / Analysis of the acute inflamatory profile in pleural fluid after coronary artery bypass graft

RESUMO

O objetivo é avaliar o perfil temporal das citocinas TNF-, IL-1, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, VEGF e TGF- nos derrames pleurais imediatamente após 2, 24 e 48 horas da cirurgia. Analisados 43 pacientes submetidos a revascularização miocárdica e 16 com derrames pleurais transudativos (controle). Na comparação com o controle, os resultados mostraram que TNF- e IL-2 não são mobilizados neste tipo de derrame. A IL-1 se eleva a partir das primeiras 24 horas. As IL-6, IL-8 e o VEGF mantêm-se elevadas, enquanto que o TGF inicia-se em níveis altos que decaem a partir das 24 horas. Em relação a outras variáveis (sexo, faixa etária, complicações pós-operatórias, CEC e tempo de cirurgia), observou-se níveis elevados de IL-6 e TGF- após 2 horas no sexo feminino. /The purpose of this study is to evaluate the profile of cytokines TNF-, IL-1, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, VEGF and TGF- in pleural fluid immediately after 2, 24 and 48 hours after the procedure, in 43 surgical patients and 16 transudates. The obtained results showed that TNF- and IL-2 are not mobilized. IL-1 increases after 2 hours from the procedure. Interleukyn-6 and IL-8 sustained high levels during 48 hours as well as VEGF. TGF- increases at 2 hours and decrease significantly in subsequent times. Some variables were analyzed (sex, age, complications, extra-corporal circulation and time of surgical intervention).
