RESUMO
A elevação dos marcadores de lesão miocárdica ocorre em 5-30 por cento dos pacientes submetidos á revascularização percuntânea. É necessário estabelecer o prognóstico destas alterações na ocorrência de eventos adversos. Em 199 pacientes tratados pelo implante eletivo de stents 4 marcadores (CKMB atividade e massa, troponinas T e I) foram mensurados. Ao final de um ano, somente os pacientes com elevação da CKMB atividade pós-stent apresentaram menor sobrevivência livre de eventos. As variáveis preditoras independentes com valor prognóstico negativo foram o diabetes, a pré-dilatação com o balão e a elevação da CKMB atividade pós-stent.Elevation of myocardial injury markers occurs in 5 to 30 per cent of patients that underwent percutaneous revascularization procedures. It´s necessary to stablish its prognostic impact in the occurrence of adverse events. Four biochemical markers (CKMB activity and mass, troponin T and I) were measured in 199 patients undergoing elective coronary stenting. At one year follow-up only the subgroup of patients with elevated post-procedure CKMB activity demonstrated lower event free survival rates.
