A ecocardiografia de estresse com dobutamina na estratificação de risco de pacientes com angina instável / Dobutamine stress echocardiography in the risk stratification of patients with unstable angina

RESUMO

Utilizou-se a ecocardiografia de estresse com dobutamina para estratificação de risco em 95 pacientes hospitalizados com diagnóstico de angina instável de riscos leve e moderado. Correlacionou-se o resultado do exame com o desfecho composto de morte, infarto agudo do miocárdio, novo episódio de angina instável e necessidade de revascularização miocárdica, no período de seis meses de seguimento, sendo calculados a sensibilidade, especificidade, acurácia, valores preditivos positivo e negativo do teste frente aos desfechos. Foi também avaliado o perfil de segurança do método. Verificou-se um excelente valor preditivo negativo, que permitiu a alta precoce dos pacientes e ausência de eventos adversos graves relacionados ao teste.Dobutamine stress echocardiography was used for risk stratification in 95 low to moderate risk unstable angina patients who had been admitted to the hospital. The result of the test was correlated over a six month follow-up with the composite clinical outcome of death, acute myocardial infarction, a new episode of unstable angina and the need for revascularization procedures. The test sensibility, specificity, accuracy, positive and negative predictive values were calculated based on the composite clinical outcome. The safety profile of the test was also evaluated.
