RESUMO
O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o papel do consumo de álcool e outras drogas e da impulsividade sexual entre agressores sexuais. Alguns questionários sobre o consumo de álcool e drogas, impulsividade, dependência de sexo e risco de reincidência para crimes sexuais foram aplicados em 198 agressores sexuais. Eles foram divididos em três grupos, consistindo em molestadores de crianças, agressores sexuais de adolescentes e agressores sexuais de adultos. Os agressores de adultos foram significativamente mais jovens e apresentaram mais problemas com o consumo de drogas do que os outros dois grupos. Os molestadores de crianças apresentaram significativamente maior gravidade de dependência de álcool do que os agressores de adultos e de adolescentes. Os agressores sexuais seriais, independentemente da idade da vítima, mostraram significativamente maior nível de impulsividade e mais freqüente história pessoal de abuso sexual do que os agressores não seriais / The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of alcohol and drug consumption and the sexual impulsivity level among sexual offenders. Some questionnaires on the history of drug and alcohol use, impulsivity level, sexual addiction and recidivism risk for sexual crimes were applied to 198 sexual aggressors. They were divided into three groups, consisting of children molesters, sexual offenders against adolescents and sexual aggressors against adults. Sexual offenders against adults were found to be significantly younger and to have significantly more difficulties with drug use than the comparison groups. The severity of alcohol dependence was significantly higher in the children molesters than the comparison groups. The serial sexual offenders, regardless of the victim’s age, showed significantly higher impulsivity level and more frequent personal history of being sexually abused than the nonserial sexual offenders...
