RESUMO
A ocorrência de parasitoses intestinais foi avaliada em escolares do distrito de Tapuirama (Uberlândia-MG), em 2001 e 2003, pelo método de luz. A taxa de prevalência geral foi de 35,0por cento em 2001, e de 38,5por cento em 2003. Giardia mamblia foi a espécie mais prevalente em ambos os anos.
