Nivel de estrés en estudiantes de medicina de las Facultades de Medicina de la UMSA y UNIVALLE / Stress level of firts year studens in the Medical School of UMSA and UNIVALLE

RESUMEN

PREGUNTA DE INVESTIGACIÓN ¿Será que los estudiantes de primer año de la Carrera de Medicina de la UMSA sufren mayor estrés que los estudiantes de medicina de la UNIVALLE antes de rendir un examen parcial de anatomía humana? OBJETIVO: conocer el nivel de estrés previo al examen parcial de anatomía humana en los estudiantes de primer año de la carrera de medicina de la UMSA en relación con los estudiantes de la UNIVALLE durante la gestión 2003 DISEÑO: cuali-Cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo. MUESTRA 313 alumnos elegidos según tamaño de muestra. CRITERIOS DE ELECCIÓN Alumnos que cursan por primera vez la materia de Anatomía de las Facultades de Medicina de la UMSA y UNIVALLE. RESULTADOS: tomando en cuenta la forma de calificación del test aplicado se obtuvo que en cuanto al Rango de Usted está dentro del rango normal la UNIVALLE presento un 37,63% y la UMSA un 18,75%. En el rango de Alerta se encuentra en el límite, la UNIVALLE presenta el 50,65% y la UMSA 50,45%. En el rango de Usted necesita ayuda la UNIVALLE presento el 4,69% y la UMSA el 27,20%. Finalmente en el rango de Usted está presentando un estrés franco la UNIVALLE presenta un 0%, la UMSA un 3,60% del total de encuestados. CONCLUSIONES: los alumnos de la UMSA presentan un nivel mayor de estrés que los alumnos de la UNIVALLE antes de ingresar a un examen parcial de Anatomía.

RESEARCH QUESTION do first year medical students at UMSA suffer from more stress than students at UNIVALLE University before taking an anatomy test? OBJECTIVE: To determine wheter the level of stress before an anatomy test is higher in the first year medical students at UMSA than in their colleagues at UNIVALLE University during the year 2003 Study Design Qualitative-Quantitative Descriptive Sample 313 students selected according to sample Criteria for Inclusion Students who take the anatomy course for the levels of stress RESULTS: using the qualification of the test above test, the following results were obtained You are inside the normal range UNIVALLE 37.63%, UMSA 18.75%.
