RESUMO
A presente pesquisa estudou a prevalência de transtornos psiquiátricos em amostra de adolescentes infratores utilizando o K-SADS-PL. Foi observada uma maior prevalência de transtornos psiquiátricos na amostra em comparação com a população geral da mesma faixa etária. As patologias de maior prevalência foram transtorno da conduta, transtorno desafiador opositivo, transtornos depressivos, transtornos ansiosos, transtorno de déficit de atenção/hiperatividade, abuso/dependência de álcool e de drogas ilícitas. Variáveis como gênero, fatores de risco, gravidade dos delitos e correlação entre patologias também foram analisadas / The objective of the research was to study the prevalence of psychiatry disorders in a sample of youth offenders applying the K-SADS-PL. The results suggested a high prevalence of psychiatry disorders in the sample compared to the general population of the same age. The most prevalent disorders were attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, illicit drug abuse/dependence, and alcohol abuse/dependence.
