ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the immunopathogenic machanism(s) responsible for recurrent aphthous ulcers (RAU). In situ cytokine production was evaluated in both active and remission phase of untreated RAU and RAU treated with Mometasone furoate 0.1 per cent lotion. Clinical and histological alterations were also studird for both treatment groups.
