A autora discute aspectos relacionados às modificações e evoluções dos conceitos de neutralidade e abstinência e suas implicações na evolução da psicanálise. Apresenta uma revisão teórica e uma articulação com questões atuais na psicanálise que exigem a inclusão da mente do analista como parte fundamental do processo. Para a autora, o conceito de neutralidade é válido ainda hoje no que se refere às ações (acting-in e acting-out) dos analistas e implica uma necessária assimetria que evidenciará quem é o paciente e quem é o analista. Articula conceitos como jogo, trabalho de figurabilidade, situação analisante e suas relações com a neutralidade

ABSTRACT

The author discusses some aspects related to the changes and evolutions of the concepts of neutrality and abstinence and their impact on the evolution of psychoanalysis. A theoretical review and an articulation with the current issues of psychoanalysis that require the inclusion of the analyst’s mind as an essential part of the process are presented. According to the author, the concept of neutrality remains valid today regarding the analyst’s acts (acting-in and acting-out) and it results in a necessary asymmetry that will make evident who is the patient and who is the analyst. The author articulates concepts such as game, the work of figurability, the analyzing situation and their relations with neutrality
