Condutas anti-sociais e delitivas e relações familiares em duas áreas urbanas na cidade de Palmas-TO / Delictive and anti-social conduct and family relations in two urban areas of the city of Palmas (Brazil)

RESUMO

Este trabalho investigou a relação entre as condutas anti-sociais e delitivas e os indicadores da relação familiar em duas áreas urbanas na cidade de Palmas-TO. Participaram do estudo 921 sujeitos de ambos os sexos e idades entre 10 e 21 anos. Os resultados revelaram que não houve diferença na relação entre as variáveis nas duas áreas urbanas. Desta forma, a dinâmica interna da família pode inibir condutas relacionadas à delinqüência entre os jovens, independentemente da condição sócio-econômica destes.

ABSTRACT

This study investigated the relation between antisocial and criminal behaviors and the descriptors of family relationships in two urban areas in the city of Palmas-TO. The subjects were 921 citizens from both sexes and ages ranging from 10 to 21 years. The results showed no differences related to urban areas between the considered variables. Thus the internal dynamics of the family can inhibit delinquent behaviors of the youngsters independent of their social-economic condition.
