Dignidad humana. Una reflexión crítica sobre antropocentrismo a favor de la responsabilidad solidaria / Human dignity. A critical reflection on the anthopocentrism in favor of the social responsibility

RESUMEN

El siguiente texto pretende revisar el concepto de dignidad humana y mostrar, de un lado, una posición crítica de un pensamiento antropocéntrico contenido en tal noción, desde cualquiera de las vertientes esbozadas. De otro lado, se propone comprender la noción de dignidad humana como una tarea y en un compromiso de solidaridad de los individuos para con todos los seres vivos, incluidos los de su misma especie y el hábitat. El texto presenta inicialmente, en la introducción, la importancia, la legitimidad y la responsabilidad de reflexionar sobre el concepto de dignidad humana, argumentando, entre varias ideas, su ambigüedad. Posteriormente señala las fuentes básicas de tal concepto, su alcance en el contexto social y político, y termina, con el subtítulo ‘Lo problemático’, ratificando la crítica al antropocentrismo y sugiriendo la apuesta por una dignidad que se alcanza por la responsabilidad solidaria.

ABSTRACT

The following text reviews the concept of human dignity and shows critical position regarding an anthropocentric thought contained in such a notionin many of his connotations. It seeks also to understand the notion of human dignity as a task and a commit ment of reciprocal solidarity of individuals bet ween themselves and with all living beings, which share the same global and common house, our earth´s habitat. The text explains in the introduction the importance, legitimacy and responsibility of thin king through the human dignity concept one of such a complexity and ambiguity with which the author comes to critical thought. Then it points out the basic sources for such a concept, its scope in the social and political context, and it closes with the subtitle ‘the problem’ ratifying the criticism to the anthropocentrism and plying on dignity that is achieved by social responsibility.
