Ética e intencionalidad en el proceso de educar en salud / Ethics and intention in the process of educating in heath

RESUMEN

El presente artículo tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre el concepto de ética e intencionalidad en el proceso de educar en salud a personas adultas. La educación en salud constituye una herramienta esencial en el desempeño del rol de enfermería en su acción de cuidar y como tal integra un ámbito que requiere de fundamentación y actualización permanente. Para lograr el propósito se plantean cuestiones orientadoras que permitirán centrar el análisis, entre ellas, se encuentran por ejemplo, ¿cómo fundamentar la educación en salud desde una perspectiva ética?; ¿cómo se comporta la intencionalidad en este proceso?; ¿cómo se percibe la presencia de la intencionalidad al educar en salud?; ¿qué implicaciones tiene para enfermería comprender la intencionalidad en el acto de educar en salud?; ¿cómo se vincula el tema de la conciencia en la educación en salud? Se espera reunir información que permita fundamentar y hacer un análisis en un nivel descriptivo.

ABSTRACT

This article wishes to reflect on the ethical concept and the intention in the process of education in health among adults. Education in health constitutes an essential tool in performing the role of nursing in respect of its actions to take care of and, as such, to integrate an atmosphere that requires the foundations and the permanent updates. In order to achieve the objective there are questions that orient one to being able to concentrate the analysis, among other issues, on -for example- How to have an educational foundation on health from an ethical perspective?; How does the intention of the process behave?; How does one perceive the intension when educating in health?; what implications are there for nursing to understand the intention in the act of educating in health?; How does one link the issue of awareness in educating in health? We hope to gather the information that enables one to have basis and make an analysis at a descriptive level.
