RESUMEN
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo sobre el diagnóstico de laboratorio, en pacientes con dermatofitosis, se recogieron 146 muestras, estudiadas por examen directo y cultivo. Se obtuvieron 91 muestras positivas al cultivo. Trichophyton rubrum y Trichophyton mentagrophytes fueron las especies más frecuentes encontradas. Se presentaron asociaciones entre especies de Trichophyton y entre estos y Cándida albicans. El tratamiento previo influyó en los resultados del laboratorio.
ABSTRACT
A descriptive study was conducted on laboratory diagnosis of patients with dermatophytoses, 146 samples were studied by direct dermatologic examination and dermatophyte medium. As many as 146 samples, studied by direct examination and culture, of which 91 samples were found positive. Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes were the species more frequently found. There were associations between species of Trichophyton and Candida albicans and among themselves. The previous treatment influenced in the laboratory results.
