ABSTRACT
A literature review was made on the utmost importance of implementation of adequate social care policies for the survival of poor and developing nations, with a view to providing access to health care systems and particularly meeting drug requirements. This does not occur at present in most of the countries due to excluding nature of neoliberalism and commercialization spirit towards profitability. Cuba is an example that social and economic advance is possible, on the basis of indigenous projects, through the development of key technologies.
