RESUMO
O presente artigo apresenta um breve panorama das modificações nos vínculos familiares quando do envelhecimento, estudando como o Direito brasileiro trata tais questões, enfocando principalmente o exemplo da separação obrigatória de bens como oficialização de preconceitos através da lei.
ABSTRACT
This article presents a brief outline of the changes in the family environment related to the ageing process. It studies how the Brazilian Law deals with these questions, focusing specially on the example of the total separation of marital property, which makes prejudices become official by law.
