Análise do comportamento cinemático da marcha de um indivíduo submetido a artroplastia total de quadril / Cinematic behavior analysis of gait of a patient submitted to a whole hip arthoplasty

RESUMO

A expectativa de vida da população brasileira vem aumentando. Com isso, as conseqüências do envelhecimento vêm associadas. Dentre elas, a artrose de quadril. A artrose é a patologia que mais leva à limitação da amplitude de movimento, impossibilitando a marcha normal, levando o indivíduo a ser submetido a artroplastia total de quadril, a fim de ter uma qualidade de vida melhor. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar, através da cinemática, o comportamento da marcha de um indivíduo no pré e no pós-operatório de artroplastia total de quadril. Este estudo foi do tipo exploratório, um estudo de caso, sendo realizado entre os meses de fevereiro e abril de 2003, na Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia da Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina – UNISUL, Tubarão/SC, sendo utilizados os seguintes materiais para a coleta de dados esteira elétrica da marca Embreex, máquina fotográfica digital Sony Mavica (MVC – FD 73), filmadora JVC, bolinhas de isopor; pano escuro com três metros de largura e dois de comprimento, durex; goniômetro Carci, fita métrica, termo de consentimento e ficha de avaliação. A estatística foi do tipo clássica. Os resultados obtidos revelam a eficácia da artroplastia total do quadril.

ABSTRACT

The Brazilian population life expectancy is increasing and the aging consequences are coming associated with them. In the midst of them there is the hip arthrosis. Arthrosis is the pathology that brings more limitations to the movement amplitude, making difficult the normal walk. And the individual has to be submitted to a whole hip arthroplasty, to have a better life quality. The aim of this study was to evaluate the walk behavior of a person before and after surgery of a total hip arthroplasty, through the cinematics. This exploratory study is a study case and was done between February and April 2003, at Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia da Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina – Unisul – Tubarão S/C. Some materials were used to the data gathering an eletric matting trademark Embreex; a digital camera Sony Mavica (MVC – FD 73); a movie camera JVC; isopor balls; some dark fabric with three meters width and two meters length; tape; a Carci ganiometer; tape measure; an approval term and an evaluation card. The statistics method used was the classical. The achieved results revealed the efficacy of the whole hip artroplasty.
